BMW performance Steering wheel available for purchase in Germany?! &other questions
Can't stand chrome sides on sport wheel of e92 and would like to replace it with something nice...:
is BMW performance Steering wheel available for purchase in Germany!? Do you think i have any chance of finding and buying one around Munich and Frankfurt area during ED...?! any tips on how to find one?! HARTGE is only 2hrs away from Frankfurt, so what you guys think about HARTGE steering wheel for e92 - part 32_90_0560_C Once again, Do you think i have any chance of buying one at HARTGE's main office?! and Last, but not least M-pack e92 wheel-is it worst trying to find and buying one in Germany or it can be easily ordered in States?! P.S.: Here is a newbie question/concern regarding Hartge's and m-pack wheels, they come as a whole steering wheel, not just the leather rim-right? That way replacing whole steering wheel will take care of )|( chrome parts of stock sport wheel... Thanks in advance!! Looking forward for your replies!! |

Hartage is very expensive, why don't you choose AC which should be nearly the same as Hartage but cheaper.

The middle is an LCD display, the ones on either side of that are RPM indicators like in Formula 1 cars and Ferraris, as you get near the redline, red LEDs light up to give you a more obvious visual indicator of when to shift when you're really bookin it.

I wonder if the those with AT 335i's, they will make a BMW performance steering, for us. It sux if we have to use that steering without the paddles.

Yep, but the air bag won't fit though, need to get a non-sport airbag

I am also looking forward to hearing some confirmation about the BMW PERFORMANCE wheel for steptronic + paddle equipped cars.
On another forum (BMWfaq from Spain) someone posted part nbrs. for these wheels, and there are in fact separate nbrs. for steptronic and non-steptronic: 32 30 0 445 258 Steering for steptronic 32 30 0 443 170 Steering for non-steptronic 32 30 0 430 403 Mutifunction panel cover 32 30 0 430 402 Non multifunction panel cover 01 29 0 444 862 User instructions Instalation time: 1.5 hr Availability: March 2008 Can anyone check if these nbrs. are valid, and if there is in fact a BMW PERFORMANCE wheel for our paddle equipped cars?
