Good Not Great

To BE HONEST - I am surprised at the "after" pictures. My DIY job did a much better job at cleaning the valves. Specifically the hardened "tar" around the valve seat and even the remaining coating on the valve stem. They certainly did not used the BMW tools. I used 90psi followed up with dental tools to pick around the valve seats. Once I removed all I could with mechanical tools - I soaked the intake with carb cleaner for 15min. One final walnut blasting produced results that were near "NEW" condition. Not to trash your results but once you are in there -- spend the extra time and complete the job. I had 87k and started with unbelievable gunk.
.
Have also installed a RB PCV valve and a BMS Catch can -- hoping to help slow down future build-up.
