Just meant that it was more important for me to be tougher on the negoiations for the final price of the car and my trade-in. And to me the most important thing to haggle over is the financing rate. Lucky for us the luxury car market is not what is has been lately and BMW has good financing deals on the 3 series.

Congrats on your pickup Archangel.

Yea, my CA said that my car would be there Mon, but may not be able to pick up until Tues??? WTF.

so either Monday or Tues will be the day. CA suggested I sign Monday. Probably wants to get this car in for this months commish I am assuming as Mon is the last day of the month.

This is going to be a long weekend.

MUST. BE. PATIENT.

I don't get why they are slow in getting your cars ready. Are your dealers extremely busy or something?

Well since I am in Boston, it is further away than both Philly and NY/NJ. So I am assuming that is one reason why. It prob takes the truck longer to get there.

Otherwise, not sure why I would wait until Tues, if my car arrives to the dealer on Mon. I guess I'll see what he has to say on Mon.

Oh yea, has anyone heard about new April rates? If they are lower, then there is a chance that we can get a lower price when we sign for our cars.

Sorry to be a post whore, just had to ask.

I have a feeling my car will be at the dealer tonight but my CA is off today. He said that Saturdays are not very good days to schedule pickups (just doesn't want to lose out on new customers if he has to finish up my paperwork). I'm possibly out of town Monday and Tuesday so we set someting up for Wednesday.

I was driving home down 95 last night and passed a car carrier. I took a long look at it to see if it was a BMW carrier. Unfortunately they were just overpriced Benz's.

Most of the rates specials that were in effect in March are good through the end of April.

Haha, "We are delivering someones baby" is the slogan I saw on a BMW car carrier. They have really nailed the marketing and suspense for this whole vehicle order/delivery program. And they make customers soil themselves in the process. LOL

My dealer said I would lock in Feb rates when I ordered the car. (I ordered Feb 23) He told me to ask him about rates again before I sign. Because if they are lower, then the price of the car will be lower.

Thats why I was wondering if April rates will increase/decrease

The BMW-USA website has all the 3 Series models at 3.9% financing, except the wagons and convertibles which are 4.9%, through the end of April. I also ordered my car in February when there were no specials so there wasn't anything I needed to lock in. My CA said to shop around rates at local banks and if BMW had a special when my car came in I could take that.

Sorry if I missed this. But why is he making you wait if your car is there?

Thanks. I should have been more specific.

I am leasing, so I meant money factor rates. Like .0017, .0025 for example. They were really low in Feb, so I will be sure to ask my dealer again on Mon.

Thanks again!

Picked it up earlier. The car is absolutely fantastic! I'll take some pics and post them tomorrow. It was a busy night.

just got back from rallye, the BM REALLY pushed the wheel protection plan. I didnt get it though. She said there was no way i could take the car home today because they wont get the title until monday at 1pm. She said the car was on property somewhere but didnt know exactly where, i couldnt even find the damn thing.

This will be the LONGEST weekend ever.

Dude, I hear ya. My car wont even be there until Monday. And then we still have to go through registration and and insurance BS. At this rate, I will be lucky if I can drive on Wed!

But I guess it was our choice to "custom order" we could have taken a car off the lot to save ourselves from this excruciating pain! I have a feeling this will be worth the wait though.

So did you end up signing before you saw the car? Thats too bad they couldnt show it to you if they were sure it was on the lot...
