My new E92 - drove 12 hrs to New Hampshire!
I have always been a big BMW enthusiast, and decided it was time to upgrade from my ZHP to an E92 M-Sport. I found one in New Hampshire that I felt like I just had to have, with (almost) all the options I could have wanted. It feels like the (much) bigger brother of my ZHP. Here are some pictures of it!
2011 Le Mans Blue E92 335i 6-Speed Manual Certified Pre-Owned 45,554 miles (48,000 now) Grey pleather interior M-Sport Package Comfort Access Professional Multimedia Package Harmon/Kardon Surround Sound Heated Seats Maintenance extended to 100,000/2016 After polishing up my headlights Saying goodbye to the ZHP and hello to the ZMP! Also, here are some bonus pics I found of my old car. I did a loooot of DIY on it! And it was even stellar in the winter That was a fun 24 hour drive there and back, to say the least! A great weekend for a car enthusiast, that's for sure. I can't wait to start getting into the best mods to start with on this car! I'm very interested in the BMW Performance Exhaust and JB4 or Dinan (have not decided yet). I'm going to get the closed-box version of the AfE Intake (the N55 runs very hot!) pretty soon after I get the performance exhaust. I would like to also consider adding an auxiliary radiator and the upgraded fan so I can run higher boosts without worry of overheat. I am also looking into getting some Koni FSD dampers. I have heard people rave about them. I am very new to this car compared to the E46 and don't know many of the failure points. I read something about a plastic charge pipe and VANOS bolt failures, but that's about it. I look forward to talking with you all, and meeting any locals! |

Great pick up! Looks to me you have real leather, not fake! Also you're still under warranty.. be careful with the aftermarket non BMW mods, they void warranty, unless you're willing to go through the hassle of uninstalling every time you take the car in

So yes OP assume the dealer isn't mod friendly till you buddy up to an SA and ask discreetly. edit: Sick car, mine is a year older but similar! How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking, or you can PM me

I completely agree, but have encountered both types of dealers and now use caution.

It is totally dependent on the dealer. Just hope you don't have to deal with any thick-headed ones. |

As a general rule of thumb I try to stick with BMW performance parts (or OEM) for most major applications, particularly engine internals. But simple stuff (charge pipe to one that isn't plastic, intake, ECU tune, LED side markers, possibly dampers) so that I keep the resale value up and the warranty in tact. But mostly I just love how BMW performance parts look and perform, especially when comparing a few aftermarket parts on my last car. They're expensive, but they're guaranteed to work, fit and give you that same BMW thrill
A lot of people aren't really into that and I know it somewhat limits my options for mods by being more biased with OE parts, but it's what really makes my drive more enjoyable to me. And in the end, that's all that matters! |

LeMans blue was exclusive to M-Sport models. You could not order a Deep Sea Blue M-Sport model. Only M-sports could have LMB and only non M-Sports could have DSB.
