Camber plates with stock perches?

What camber plates are out there that work with stock perches?

I have a 2009 E90 with the sport suspension. I don't see myself upgrading to coilovers ever...maybe new shocks/springs in another 20-30k. However, I'd love to get some control over camber and caster if possible for a relatively aggressive alignment.

I have done M3 front upper/lower control arms, front sway, so there are a few mods.

Just not sure what my options are with the stock perches and still maintain a relatively comfortable ride.

Hmm, backordered until late March. I have a track day on April 5th and i'd need to get them installed like a week before that.

Any other options out there?

I think Ground control also has some kits that work with the factory struts

why not dinan camber plates. they are fixed plates so no noise and with m3 bits you already have, should bring you about -1.5camber. anything past that is gonna be chewing away the tires.

+1 on Dinans.

Lurking around hoping to find some used ones cheap. New ones are currently on sale from Dinan, 15% off. Only issue I've heard of is slight increase in ride height: some say 3/8", Dinan says 1/4". Probably won't notice it visually.

Longliven54, since you have them, does install require any modification to the top hat? I'm wondering if there is a hidden cost (top hat gets modified and needs to be replaced if one decides to part out Dinan plates later).

^^ my install shop didnt mention any modification done to the top hat.
i installed supreme power lowering perches at same time, so cant tell if it increased any height.

Only thing about the Dinan ones that turns many people away from them is that they're not adjustable.

There is a 1/8" metal spacer that it used in the strut mount assembly that can be removed when you install the Dinan camber plates (it is recommended in the instruction sheet that is included with the camber plates). That pretty much negates any increase in height that you would get from the camber plates.

Good luck finding a used set. I caved in and bought some new ones!

thanks for the install info.

You are right, not very easy to find used and sounds like others are looking to buy. I may need to do that cave in thing too.

Properly installed camber plates don't make noise. Not a peep from my Ground Controls.
