I got 12k/36 months
and i feel like I may go over by about 5k-7k miles. Is it 10 cents per mile or 15 if you go over typically? -thanks |

If you wait until the end of the lease, I believe it is $0.18 per mile. However you can go to the 'Owners Circle' on www.bmwusa.com and buy extra miles. I think they are only 0.16 there.

I was quoted 20 cents per mile over. I have 12,000 a year now, and when crunched the numbers for buying 15,000, it came out the same. 20 cents per mile. The way I see it, you pay now or later doesn't matter.
Maybe different costs in different markets? The bad streets in chicago cost me .02 more per mile?

Assuming this is a BMWFS lease :
If you are no closer than 6 mo. from the end of your lease you can buy miles here in FL for 16 cents per mile . At the end of your lease you will be penalized 21 cents per mile (unless you buy the car, in which there is no penalty)
