Sydney to Melbourne -- This Easter Holiday

Hi Guys,

First of all, sorry for this silly question:

Any idea how much petrol do i need from Sydney to Melbourne city? let say normal drive with 2-3 skinny ppl on the car. with E93 325i

ive driven Melb to Syd numerous time as i'm originally from melb...quite often visit my folks down there.

on my humble E36 318is, it takes just a little more than a tank.

with a 2.5 6cyl car like yours, i'd say about a tank and half - give or take.

From the guy who does the same trip every couple of months, it's 1.25-1.5 tanks, depending on which side of melbourne your going to. It's a good drive, enjoy!

Let say 100litres for one way, it cost $170. ( $340 return ) ( more chances get double demerit haha )

if i choose travel by plane cost $200 return/ppl ( $400 for 2ppl )

Looks like plane is the best options, but i do love driving and most of the time i do speeding 10kms/hour faster than the road sign.

When I went to Boeing in Germany I heard that it takes around $155,000.00 to fill a 747...
