Changing a hydro unit
So tomorrow I need to take my hydro unit out to sent to ecutesting.
Seems simple enough but I am concerned about the right way to disconnect the battery and the how best to leave the car for a week while they repair the unit. What's the best procedure for disconnecting the battery. Can I lock the car with the battery disconnected? When it comes to reconnecting the battery after a week is their anything to watch out for?? Assuming you don't have a garage to store it in I would reconnect the battery once you've removed the hydro unit so that you can lock/unlock the car. The car might flag up a fault code if it cannot see the hydro unit but that can be erased once you get the refurbed unit installed.
