About 13GB I think it is. You can check it on the system though, in Music collection I think.

The 'user' area for your music is about 12GB ish.

Obviously the drive is a lot bigger as it holds the NAV DVD data etc.

But it's monstrously slow to upload to from the USB port, and you can't control the file / folder structure that it creates for you.

Yes, I spent hours uploading music to the HDD and then discovered it was better to run the i-Pod and / or memory stick from the USB in the armrest anyway. I think it's only worth uploading via the glovebox USB if you don't have the armrest USB at all (from which you can stream and control devices).

I found it useful. Yes it takes a while to load but once you get the hang of the directory structure (and wait for the upload) it does work well. I then hardly used the USB interface.

Even with its quirks, I personally still think its a great piece of kit... So glad I ended up buying an LCi with this version fitted

It's a brilliant bit of kit, but if you have the full package (i.e. with 6FL USB in the armrest) then controlling USB devices is sometimes more convinient than the built-in HDD. I still put all the music on the HDD though so I'm not reliant on the i-Pod.
