hey guys just want it to share my first day with my new jb3 1.4, this thing is crazy the diferent is like day and night,so much power and the torque make you cry like a baby. i want to thanks so much to kelvin1000 who help me out with all the installation really good guy,thanks to Terry for create this incredible think, every one who owen a 335i should get one of this bad boys

How do you get more improvements out of a tune? You cant keep turning up the boost. I assume that other parameters are adjusted overtime and their performance recorded? Eventually there has to be a limit, right?

Power improvements aren't the only thing going on. There's been a huge step forward in terms of smoothness, power above 6k, smoothness down low transitioning to full throttle and max tq, etc, etc. Bunch of little changes and tweaking that all make a big different. 1.4 is as big of an update as 1.2-1.3 was, maybe even better.

I loved mine JB3 but I sold it because I can't afford an engine right now.

But it seems like everytime a new version comes out someone states that it is a night and day difference. If that was the case and we are at 1.4.. hell we should be at like 600 hp.

I remember that 6-8 months ago the "maximum safe boost" was stated to be ~14psi, now everybody runs at ~16...so there you have it, the power improvements

max boost is 15.5 at peak , not 16. and yes everybody is running high boost and still the cars are running fine.
