PE Installation - Dealer or independent?
I understand that the PE installation is a relatively straight forward process since it is OEM (correct me if I am wrong). Aside from the cost factor, are there any other pros and cons for getting this installed at dealer or at an independent shop like RMP? Pls chime in.

The box is really huge & it will not fit the car. I asked the dealer to deliver it to my shop when I got mine.

Anyone try it in an e92. I'm planning to do it there and taking my oem back home. RMP quoted me 120$ and the stealership wants 200$ apparently.

Most dealerships offer free parts delivery to RMP from my recollection... problem solved. Ask politely for the parts counter to get the exhaust delivered to RMP.

I also confim it fits in my E92 removing all the parts from the box. I also installed a blanket just to ensure that I don't domage the car.

yea make sure you tell them (bmw dealership) ahead of time that you want to keep the stock system. i didnt tell them and left mine with them for a couple days since i was going to be out of town.. when i came back i found out they had already thrown out the stock system. it didnt matter too much to me though because the stock exhaust was acting weird all the time.
