Do I need a new battery?
Hi guys
I have noticed that I get the battery low warning very quickly after turning the engine off and this has been happening for a while. I have never had any problem starting the car though.I noticed in the last couple of weeks when I unlock the car the DRL sometimes don't come on. Does this mean I need to replace the battery before it is too late? I think it is the origional so it is 6 yrs old. Not sure if that is old or not. I do short town and medium length motorway journeys regularly. Thanks Nick |

OEM battery is designed for max of 5 years. If yours is older than that, then its your decision.

i had the same issue with my battery, my car was bought preowned & is 3.5yrs old. I just bought a battery charger/tender from the dealer hope that keeps it in good shape..
