Door Rattle

I have annoying door rattles whenever I go over a bump or am on uneven surfaces. The car is only 2 weeks old. 2011 335i coupe. I feel for a car that is over 50grand, little things like this should not be a problem. Maybe i'm just a noise freak, but on my old 330ci I did not experience any door rattles. Any solutions?

Sorry to hear i have both front doors rattle or make some kind of wierd noises. But at least mine is an 06. I would be upset and definatly take it to dealer and complain.

i'd say the best reason to buy a nice car is so you don't have to listen to rattles and squeaks. I had a rattle in my door so i took it apart, removed the vapor shield and found a loose bracket lying in the door cavity. I doubt you want to do that w/ a new car so just bring it in and get it fixed. Don't bother trying to ignore it...it'll drive you crazy

I actually mentioned this issue to my service adviser. Told him that I hear rattling sounds inside the cabin, from the doors and rear. They (Sterling BMW) diagnosed the problem as dirty door seals and they cleaned them out and the rattlings completely gone now so, you guys might want to give that a shot.

-James

*EDIT* This was covered under warranty.

E90 and E91's are known for having creaking door seals. .

Looks like my door rattle is coming from the tray on the drivers door that you can push in or pull out. It has three sections, and the noise appears to be coming from the last section on the right. So aggravating. Any suggestions?
