I read an article that Brock Yates wrote recently in Car and Driver, and he talks about how no one cares which manufacturer wins or something. People go to NASCAR to watch cars turn right occasionally (explode in a ball of flames), and that's it. FTLs.

They really are fun.

In the past ten years NASCAR has made all of the cars pretty much the same, that is Brocks compaint.

The one thing that they do really well, is sell a fun show. The cars a visualy distinctive, and people pull for "their" driver.
