Wiring Inside the Engine Bay Help!

Need some help. I'm trying to hardwire into the engine bay and I remember seeing a post that I should never wire directly to the battery post but showed where I should. I'm basically looking for the positive where I can connect the power. I hope this is clear. Thoughts?

Probably the positive terminal used to jump your car? It's on the passenger side near the windshield, with a red plastic cap on it. Why shouldn't you ever wire directly to the battery?

Because the IBS sensor is a fragile expensive part that you don't want to move around for no good reason.

As said above, look at the left side of the engine bay (left when you are facing the engine hood open, so right of the car). There is a red thing that pops out, under this is the positive battery post for jump starting etc. It is connected directly to the battery.
On very side, there is an octogonal post sticking out of the wall. This is a negative post.

I do not know if this is appropriate to hardwire anything, but this is connected directly to the battery w/o going through fuse boxed or ECU on the way.

Like they are saying the positive post there is a black cover pull that off and you'll see 2 wires connecting that hook it up to that and you got power, I'll get a pick if you need since I have HID relay in
