Yes, but not with mObridge products. We'll get more into video integration just after Bimmerfest.

If you are already using the iPod - USB is pretty much a moot point.

These are coming soon, the kits were debuted at CES 09.
I have 6FL and like to play music from both an IPOD and a USB flash. So, I don't agree that IPOD connectivity makes USB moot.

And, not to be disrespectful to the thread topic, but posting a glowing review of a product you distribute yourself is not very convincing. That would be like BMW road testing the E90, and then publishing a review of it and expecting us all to accept their findings.

>I'm referring to the paging file. How many songs are you putting in your Playlists?

Playlist functionality is ok but it was sort of ok on the BMW adaptor as well. The feature that made me junk the BMW interface and go Mobridge was the one shown in the Mobridge manual on page 15 and the one to which you referred to. When the end of the list as limited by the interface is reached you are meant to be able to select next page. As I understand it hold down the ffwd key and it will pull up the next 99 (or I think 256 on BMW) entries so you can page through any list greater than limited by the CDC/I-drive limitations. This is the only way you can ever reach further down your artist/albums if you have a decent size IPOD. In my case I can't reach past Artists beginning with M...very lame and an identical limitation to the BMW adaptor.

I was told initially after it didn't work that it just hadn't been coded on my non Nav E60. Sadly once I'd switched cars to an E92 with Nav and it still didn't work it became obvious this has not been coded yet.

Its a shame...I really wanted to like the Mobridge and I was lead to beleive their support and firmware updates were excellent. Waiting over 5 months to have a feature put into a product when it was advertised as having that feature already is not my definition of good support.

At the end of the day I'm still hanging in there, this is simply becuase I do think the Mobridge is faster and has better quality audio than the BMW...just don't buy it and expect the paging feature!

I'm a little confused. Your webpage @ EAS shows a picture that indicates a USB device or a MP3 player can be plugged in, but in the description, the only mention to the USB port is that it can charge an iPod.

I'm am looking for a USB retrofit kit, whether it be the 6FL or from an aftermarket unit. Will the mObridge support USB memory sticks and hard drives, or is the USB port only for iPod charging?

Although I must admit the features in the Mobridge are nice, they weren't worth that much to me. So yes, I have the BMW kit.
Where can we get the bmw ipod adapter for $200? The cheapest I see is $255 from tischer. How much is this install costing you guys from the dealer?

That doesn't sound too horrible.. is that for the latest part number? But if the adapter can really be found for $200, then that's about 325 for labor which is still pricey for 1.5 hr job.
I'm trying to figure out the differences between the parts, I heard 65110036446 was superceded by 65110403650 with the only difference being 3gs charging. Is 65110439429 the very latest and what has changed with it?
