RWD BC coilovers fitting XI E90?

So i have an 06 330xi E90 and i am purchasing coilovers in a week, but there is one concern i have. The supplier im buying them from claims the the RWD coilovers will fit my vehicle. I am not worried about them fitting im am worried about how low they will go because my intention is to slam my vehicle(i know its not to all you liking) and i was wondering if BC coilovers meant for rwd will do the trick

Won't work. Fronts will not fit right.

Get KW's V1 or V3

Are the cups the bottom of the struts sit in a different shape on the xi? I know the front struts are shorter to accommodate the axles but if the geometry of the mounting point isn't any different I wouldn't be surprised if coil overs with adjustable length bodies would work on both. Might not be ideal, but could be possible.

Even if you finagle them to fit, you probably won't be able to slam it.

True. Given that he just wants to get moar low its probably not worth being the test case for.

Won't be slammed but they'll fit.

Adjustable shock body coilovers and short enough springs, and you'll be slammed on RWD coilovers.

@Joey_HiEars is running BC extreme drops on an xi, I think.

Yeah, for XI's you have to go with KW V1 or V3, or BC's.

I have the BC's and haven't had in issue for almost 2 years and am as low as I'd like to be! I'd recommend them!

I wanna post a picture, but it won't let me on the iPhone app

Wait, so you're running the BC coilovers made for RWD cars on your e90 XI?!

Any modifications needed, or did you straight up take them out the BC box and install them? More info pretty please

Your car looks low, but HOW low is the question. Max low or what?

No, the BC's I'm running are made for xi's! I can go a little lower if I want, but my tires are pretty stretched so if I do, I'll tear my tire apart driving around lol

Ohh ok. Thanks for the clarification. The way I read it before made it seem like you were running the rwd versions.

Car looks great though

How much are BC? I bought kW as I thought the only other option is H&R.

Guess you learn something new everyday.

The front spindle is different on the xi vs the I. The I (rwd) front struts will not fit in the xi spindle mounting hole. Also as some have mentioned, the strut height is different because the xi spindles are taller (to clear the front cv shaft) than the I spindles.
