I have a pair of somewhat new matte black 18' M3 style rims 18x8.5 all the way around. Wrapped in hankook v2's. both rims and tires have less than 3000mi on them and are in great condition. One tiny scratch on one rim but painted over, cant even tell its there. $800 picked up!

Aw man how could you ruin these gorgeous rims by painting them black, I mean they still look awesome

Hows the ride quality? Notice any difference?

and ill def. take these into consideration, im looking at my options right now.

If i decide to go with the blacked out route..

i think they would look better glossed though

I'm not sure what suspension your on now, or what tires, but i must say that from stock wheels and tires it's a hugeeeeee improvement. Taking turns I feel much more confident and you can really feel the traction kick in when taking off. I have a friend that has a Sparkling Graphite with matte black rims, tinted window, kidneys etc. IMO i think it looks great, it's all just personal preference. Wheels will be around, don't take too long though, it's hard enough to find a set of rims for this price even. With this you get the whole package + 2 sets of spacers which is really an amazing deal. Trying to get them out soon, get back to me

By any chance would you post a picture or something of how air ducts were installed to wheel liner
