335 PE muffler mod with resignator 2nd cat delete or EBay exhaust??

I'm debating on whether to do a PE muffler mod or to get a eBay exhaust. About the same price to do either.

Looking for opinions please

Where in NC are you? I'm in Raleigh and only found one shop willing to do the PE mod and their price was outrageous compared to what I've heard other people are paying for it

I'm in Concord. I have a friend that said he'd do mine for around $200. I have to buy tips and a x pipe though.

So, the cost is about the same as an eBay exhaust.

I hated my ebay exhaust, im running the PE mod and it sounds so nice. The ebay exhaust made my car sound like a civic.

i envy you guys who have shops not afraid to do this PE mod.. I've called 10 shops here in SW FLA and none of them will open mine up..!!

I need to find someone to do mine for $200. I was quoted about $900 just to do the mufflers and remove the resonator, that was without tips. I would definitely pick PE mod over eBay exhaust. I heard m2 exhaust in person and it was so raspy, sounded horrible to me.

The PE mod sounds nicer than any other exhaust I have heard (quite a few) except for the Remus race and the real PE. For me the PE mod with the stock flapper is perfect tho, nice and quiet during my daily commute and I can force the flap open with jb4 when needed.

How different does a PE mod sound to removing your mufflers and straight piping? Do they sound the same?
