Are these the same color CSL reps?

I ordered my original pair through EAS as follows: 19x8.5 ET40 5x120 72.6 - Matte Black. Rim got bent, still drivable but it was noticeable while driving, no place around here (<80 miles)to repair the rim and there is curb rash on it so decided it would be more cost effective to just get a new rim. Been waiting for 2 1/2 months for 1 rim through JleviSW.

Got it in the mail today, the sticker on the box matches up to exactly the specs on the box of my original rims I bought way back (just worried about the color here):

Color: FB (same color as it said on the other box when I got bought the set)

Open the box up and put the rim close to the ones on my car to make sure the color was right... It wasn't. These are just some quick iPhone pictures. The rims on my car seem to be "glossy" as the one I just got does't. Oh and the rims on my car aren't clean so if anything they would have more of a matte effect now.

Looks off. Your original wheels look more like gloss black but the new one does look matte black based on those pictures and that lighting, which isn't very good.

OP,

Could you please email me over some photos in better lighting? I will go ahead and look into this with our Warranty Department and get a solution resolved for you as soon as possible.

Sent some high res one using my D40.

Oh and for the forum, I know my rim is extremely dirty, I was expecting to put the new one on today so I didn't clean it.

I will clean it tonight (today is such a busy day) and then upload more pictures.

I know, I was expecting to just get a couple forum members to chime in but this is great! Oh and so are their rims!

I think it looks the same, especially in the last 2 pictures. Just wash your current wheels and compare again.

Me and Charles both agree that the color was off. He's sending me a shipping label and as soon as he receives the old rim he is sending out a new one. Said that they could of mixed the box up with the finish since it was only one wheel and not a set.

But no worries. I honestly can't believe what good service I got, thought it was going to be a nightmare to get a new wheel but was instead it took just 1 email and 1 phone call to get a new one!
