Carbon Fiber / Painted E90 Mirror Caps. What you think?

Greetings,

Decided to do something a little different on my personal car and wanted to get the communities opinion on it.

E90 Carbon Fiber / Painted Mirror Cap Covers

Will take some overall shots later today after a wash. Compliments the GTR Style Carbon Fiber Hood very well.

Seeking opinions whether to keep them on.

I have the stick-on ones already... not a fan. I would prefer full replacements if possible. I know they exist for the E92 mirrors and they do fit the E90 but I don't like the shape of the E92 ones.

Makes sense. Yeah I prefer the E90 mirror over the E92 as well.

Looks really good but I think I would have kept the bottom half carbon fiber. If it was me of course.

use to have my old mirrors like that with cf, looks good but i would just paint
it gloss black looks cleaner

My mirrors are already gloss black.. wouldn't make much sense for me to Paint my CF mirror covers full Gloss black and place them over Gloss black mirrors....

Andrew, M3 mirrors are mad expensive, so this is a very affordable alternative.

Just washed the car and took a few angle shots to give an idea of how much better the front looks with these. Specially with the GTR Carbon Fiber vented hood I have.

Nice! I'm thinking about going with CF mirrors, CF splitters, and a CF performance spoiler. I'm thinking just a few accents but not overdoing it.

Yeah, same idea I'm going for. Ver 3. for Mfest/bimmerfest 2012 will be a bit different. Changing the entire car color. Will start a build thread starting January.
