PROcede install

i'm got my PROcede today. the install looks fairly straight forward, however i'd feel more comfortable if i was with someonoe who has installed it themselves. So if someone would like to help me(not do it for me) shoot me a pm

Where in NJ do you live? I'll help you out if you want. Never installed a PROcede, but am pretty handy with mod-work.

I'd be willing to help, if you need. Not sure if you want to come to NYC(Queens) though.

i live in essex, but i work in morris. i'm not too worried about the actual install itself, more so putting all the factory stuff together properly.

If you want to come down to central jersey Id be glad to help. Ive taken apart the engine bay area countless amount of times now. Had my PROcede installed by shiv but I watched and could do it probably in 15 mins.

hey karl, what's up? yeah i'm the guy from the mall. i'm looking to do this on sunday so check you pm box and i'll let ya know the specifics. HyperM3, i may take ya up on that offer, depending on cookiemonsters schedule. my brother lives right in your area, so i could kill two birds with one stone. however i know this sunday is fathers day so i'm not sure how available everyone will be. also HyperM3 while i got your attention, that was a great DIY write up for the short shift kit for the B6 on audizine

Thank you very much! Do you have a serial cable running in to your car? If I wanna do this, where's the best place to put i through the firewall?

Naw, I debated about it. However, the amount of times Im actually doing an upgrade to the software is maybe once. Dont need to reroute a cable all the way just for that. I can take apart the ECU box in half the time and plug in my lap top. Not a big deal.

That's true, the process wasn't too bad to get in to the ecu. I do really like the idea of being able to log data, even though i'd do nothing with it.
