Need suggestions on 'thinner' tire brands

I'm running Michelin Pilots 19/30/275 rear on what I believe is 19x10 rims. The car is also dropped on coilovers. It is not slammed or anything and i would prefer not to raise it up anymore.

The problem is that I rub on medium size dips, and that's with my fenders rolled.

I've read somewhere that some tires have thinner sidewalls than others or something to that extent.

Any suggestions on what tires would be better suited than the Michelin in this situation? Thanks in advance.

Toyo Proxes T1R or Falken FK452s both have rounder side walls so its catered to the lowered vehicles, especially setups such as yours

Falken 452's or Toyo T1R's have rounder shoulders and stretch well.

I've had the T1R before in my last car , and I couldn't stand the soft mushy sidewalls. Are the Falken FK452s any better then the T1R in that regards?

Alternately you could use 265/30R19. This should help the slight rubbing you're having by giving you a tire that is about a third of an inch more narrow and a third of an inch shorter in diameter.

Gary,

Do you have any SSR comp 18 x 9.5's that will fit the E90 chassis ? Tire rack seems to have only 3 18 x 8.5's in stock at the moment

hmm I thought about that, but was afraid it may give a stretched look on the tires, but I may have to give that a try. thanks.

I would agree with Gary. Give a 265 a try. Depending on the manufacturer, the tire may look slightly stretched on the 10's. I do know Generals and SPT's have squared off sidewalls so it gives it more of a fuller look.
