Dealer to install Quaife?

Well, they offered...and I am taking them up on it..yes, "customer pay" but still..at least they will have the proper shims, correct? Got them to do a flat rate..since I was not too keen on $175/hr shop rate. I think I got a decent deal on it...sorry, not going to post the dealership name..OR the price quoted..since they hooked me up with a "track junkie" price trying to get my business from now on. I gotta admit..the treatment I am getting at this dealership is much better that the previous car manufacturer I use to own. I am actually pleasantly surprised. Keep it up BMW.

Update...they arent doing the install..they thought it was an entire diff and housing...they said, and I quote " we dont do brain surgery here". Oh well, back to my original independent shop.

I had the same experience with my dealer. They really tried hard, but they got a big NO from the higher ups in regard to bearings etc.

But, they just told me that they could remove my stock diff..store my car at their dealership...provide a car..help me ship my diff/housing to Koala to get it installed..and then install the new assembly in my car after getting it back from Koala Motorsports. I am considering that now.

The stock diff is ridiculous to rebuild and take apart, they may get half way through and be like.... UH WELL.....

Lucky YOU.
I feel like I did when I owned Audi's.
I'm going to drive by 3 dealerships to have my service done.
And one is only 4 miles from me. Shame......
I love my BMW, but the local Serv. Depts are just as bad as So Cal Audi dealerships were....
