How was Speed Ventures SOW event last Friday? Did any of the gals run sub-1:33? (I would consider them FAST women!

)

It will be good to meet you guys (and gals), so come spectate even if you're not driving. It's always good to preview a course and watch lines (if you are new to a track). There is good viewing from the bleachers at the S/F line.

I'm leaving Torrance at 5:30 a.m. on Sat. morning (Dec. 6). If I'm still tired, I'll take the 405N to 14N. Otherwise, I'll get warm-up practice driving up AC Hwy to AF Hwy onto N14. Those adaptive headlights should be cool winding up the mtn.

TIP: Don't forget to fill up beforehand or in Palmdale. The pump at Willow Springs was $8.00/gal. for 100 octane and $6.00 for 91 (back on Oct. 24)!!! Premium by my house is down to $2.20/gal. now!

That means your wallet shouldn't catch on fire when you use WOT at the track.

I agree, fill up. I ran out of gas on Oct 24th lol. Also, if you're driving through AF and AC, there are motorcycle cops at the end of the blind turns so watch out!

We are leaving Monrovia at 5:30am. There will be 5 of us heading up theree.
The fleet manager from NCBMW will meet up with us in Pasadena in his M6.

I MIGHT be able to borrow an extra one from a friend. What size are you? Do you have an extra large (or extra small) size... or are you about medium?
Motorcycle/auto helmets tend to run very small, tight.
