What is needed to make the E90 325i as fast as a 330i

I am assuming with a BMW performance exhaust and resonator delete, and a proper ECU Software flash, I can make my E90 325i as fast, if not faster than a stock 330i from the same year. Am I thinking correctly?

Stock numbers?
330i 0-60 6.2
325i 0-60 6.8

No, you're not thinking correctly. Your listed mods will put a little more pep in your step, but it won't put you up there with a 330.

BMW Performance exhausts don't have a resonator, and just putting a tune into the 325's N/A engine will definitely not put you up there with a 330.

The only way to keep up with a 330 is to do a 330 intake manifold swap and pair that with a proper tune.

It just feels like I am already at least .5 seconds faster

Just feels like if I only need to gain half a second, then Im already there. Maybe the 330i weights more? Im not talking HP, just 0-60

A half a second faster to 60 actually requires quite a bit of power. I think road and track got the 330 to 60 in 5.5 sec but they use a 5 ft rollout. The numbers you see are more what you'd be able to produce. I did the manifold swap but I'm still 5-10 whp short of a 330. I just put a Dinan exhaust on so I might go back to the dyno soon.

What kamek said. You need a 330i intake manifold and a tune for that. An exhaust and intake would just
add to that.
