Eibach springs installed

Got them installed this afternoon. I decided not to do them myself because I didn't think I would be able to handle the job without an extra set of hands. I took it to a shop to get it installed and they did a great job. Little on the expensive side but I've always trusted them to do work on all my cars.

The Eibachs feel great. On my short 10 mile drive home, I tried driving over areas that I new were pretty bad roads and I could barely notice the difference in ride comfort. The drop is actually more noticeable than I thought it would be considering its only advertised as a 0.8"F/0.5"R drop. I tried it in all EDC modes and all of them felt nearly identical to stock. Actually, in the sport mode, the springs actually feel better match to the damper than the stock. Much less bouncy than with the OEM springs and the sport EDC setting.

i hope you know someone from the service dept.
when i took my car in for the rattling noise, first thing they asked me was "did you do any suspension work?"

What rattling? I don't really have any rattles.

i think he meant that if you bring your car in for an issue that could be related to the suspension, they may try to deny you warranty coverage because of the springs. however in my experience with bmw of honolulu and mini, they've been pretty good about honoring the warranty.

Same here. As long as you don't try to BS them they try to help you out the best they can. Of course, I wouldn't expect them to fix anything suspension related after having the springs installed.

Sorry, no pics yet. I'll wait until I wash the car tomorrow morning to post pics.
Are you riding on stock shocks?

Yes. I have the EDC option so I don't want to change out the struts. Otherwise I would have got coilovers.

Hawaiian Tire & Auto Center. I've also had work done at Island Brake & Alignment on other cars and they do good work too. Island Brake is a little cheaper but its hard to get stuff done on a weekend there because a lot of times they are only open half day on Saturday.
