Hey everyone,

I am the happy owner of a 2007 335xi, I love the car and enjoy driving it. I enjoy it so much that it now has a little over 145,000 miles. My water pump just recently went out and I had it replaced along with the thermostat. However that brought to my attention that it would be a good time for some preventative maintenance. The car currently is sitting on 19" VMR 701s (8.5 front and 9.5 rear), KW V1 coilovers, and Michelin Pilot Super Sports. I'm happy with how the car drives but it feels like it lacks a bit of crispness that it had before. Therefore I'm wanting to refresh my suspension, my question to all of you guys is what bushings, etc. should I replace or check? Thanks in advance!

So, I have to ask, when did you put in the coilovers, did you have any issues with them, and do you have crappy snowy salt covered roads at -10F for about 4-6 months out of the year?

I'm also interested in this answer. OP, I would suggest Turner's all-aluminum subframe bushings - http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1125661 - if your rear end is persnickity.

I found this ECS kit, http://www.ecstuning.com/ES2601977/?...iX4aAsqU8P8HAQ and have been using as my refresh reference point.

I'm searching for urethane instead of rubber for the bushings, but that's because i like to know when i run over pennies lolz

Also, while ///M rear components are perfect fits, we can't use the ///M front bits -> Synchro Design Works has xi specific front control arms, but that's all i know of for xi front ends.

I didn't have any issues with them at all, adjusting the rear is a pain because the collars spin so it's very hard to do. I actually am from Clemson, SC but go to school in Boone, NC and we get a good bit of snow in the winter along with the crappy salted roads...however I have not seen any rust, etc. when switching from my summer to winter tires. I would highly recommend them!
