oil usage

What's everybody expeiencing in the oil usage area? I topped my crank off with a quart about 2k miles ago, and noticed I'm almost at minimal level again. My 2001 330ci would go through a quart every 5k miles, but the 335 seems to be much quicker. I average about 60 miles a day mostly on the expressway, and occasionaly in bumper to bumper traffic.

yeah I had to top off after 7k, but weird thing is, my friend with a 335 E90 with 12k miles, never had to top off her oil.. she has no mods or anything. So I guess its a YMMV on the oil.
