AV 359M questions!
Hello
I was wondering if i could fit a 275/35 tire on a 19x10 AV 359M wheel? I have a pre lci e90; i just don't like the look of a streched tyre when using a 265/30 the rim kind a sticks out. Any pics would be welcome Thanks ! |

I just ordered Avant-Garde M359 in 19x9F 19x10R and I have 275/30/19 as a rear tire. It should fit fine from what I've been told. I'll post pics when my setup in installed next week

even 265/35 is almost an inch taller dans a 275/30 so theres obviously more chance you will rub.. maybe some guys on here are running this setup and could give you a better answer than I do.

I just ordered M359s going with the 245/275 setup
Plenty of guys on here running them without any rubbing. 235/265 will definitely have a slight stretched look. |

before I joined E90post I found a thread on here with a red e92 seen on **********s picture gallery running 265-35-19 on the M359's , in the thread with close up back wheel pics he states that the rear fenders are rolled , it looks amazing and im in the process of going that route . I have falken azenis fk453 on order for my M359 235-35-19 front 265-35-19 rear . when I get it done I'll be sure to post pics if I'm allowed to do that . I've only been a member for 2 days lol

275/30 is the tire you want to use. Any taller will rub, and for sure with passengers in the back. 275 for a 10 inch rim is just right. No strech and pretty close to the fender. Check mine out.

That is why it is important to have wheels match front to back in wheel height. Doesn't matter about width. If you're going in a straight line, as in drag racing, tire dimensions don't really matter, but if you intend to have better handling characteristics, then you must tune the wheels to match what the engineers tuned the chassis for optimum handling. What I have seen, 235/35F, 275/30R is the best ratio for 19-inch wheels...slightly larger in the back, but well within the tolerances for good handling...unless all you want is show and not go. Your choice...G/L

Just ordered my set from Ivan @ pyspeed
Can't wait to get them!! I will go with the following setup: Front 19x9 et35 with 245x35 Michelin pss Back 19x9 et38 with 275x30 Michelin pss I hope this setup will not sit too flush knowing the Michelin tires are beefy looking, otherwise I'll throw in some spacers! Will post pictures as soon as I mount them! Cheers! |

nice, I have 265 rears which was suggested to me by m0dbargains and I wish I had researched it better 2 years ago when I got them.
I'll definitely be sticking 275 in the rear when it comes time to replace. Please post pics when you get them on |

My final setup
So after doing a lot of research on this forum and going through the different options I finally opted for the following setup:
Avant garde hyper silver 9x19 et 35 tire continental 245 35 9x10 et 38 rear with continental 275 30 The look of the car with this thing is mean, it finally gave the twin turbo beast under the hood a reason to be there. The oem wheels were just not aggressive enough for this car. They sit flush, look fantastic and I do not rub whatsoever I am on stock suspension on a pre lci e90. Will post more pictures tomorrow !! Thanks to Ivan @ pyspeed service is great, support is clear and delivery was superfast! And I live in Casablanca which is halfway around the world!
