OP was in March and he said the petition was for an interview in a few days. Its been a bit longer than a few days so I'm assuming that interview is over...

I'll sign the petition if it's a free retrofit (which I would have to be dreaming or in purgatory for). Otherwise, it means I have to buy a new car if they have it... and 335i's don't come cheap.

At least 200 of us went to the expense of getting an aftermarket LSD. IMO a LSD would be a popular OEM factory-installed option if priced under $1k for the 335. As a BMW Performance option, the cost would be much higher, requiring at least five hours labor and a final drive swap, so probably >$2.5k all said and done.
