well that could be said about any mod... until it causes a problem. Don't think for a minute you could go in, they see you have an intake and are OK with it but 2 months later you come in throwing a code that says there is dirt in the cylinder or something and they won't blame it on the intake.

very nice... how is that on the turbo? I hear they bump up from like 200hp to around 240ish or so.

he he, 1.8t stock is 170 with about 8 psi.
the new 2.0t comes with 200hp...
yeah, stage 1 flash (basic chip) increases psi up to about 17-18 and adds about 40-50 crank hps.
stage 1+ (bigger injectors) will spike at about 21-22 and hold at about 18-19.

Same engine, same tune... you might benefit more cuz you're car is lighter also.

450 already sounds like an attractive price to me, but GB couldn't hurt...

My question is if you have to have a reflash from BMW. You'll loose the program and have to send the computer back for another reflash.
What does the programmer cost so you can re-upload the tune if this happens? Would you be able to get an adapter for your laptop and could reupload the tune from your laptop instead?

Yeah we addressed this WAY back there (maybe even in the 1st post).

If for some reason your tune is lost they will send you a handheld unit so you can reflash the car and all you have to do is send it back to them.
