Amazing set of snails you got there. I wish I knew more about them. My car's turbos are essentially shot. If the dealer doesn't replace them next week, who knows maybe I'll do some research and look into these. GLWS

Are these prone to waste gate rattle like the stock ones? I believe someone said they were? If not, what is the difference?

+80whp over stock turbos with much more power towards redline. That's the cliffnotes version. I've seen dynos of 525whp at 21 psi on E85+meth.

If you buy, I also have the hookup on installation if you need it.

I'm assuming these don't come with the necessary gaskets and oil lines right?

The wastegates are fully rebuilt, which is the best part of the RBs, and tend to be tighter than stock turbos. Like any internally gated setup, they will eventually rattle with advanced age, and that's just me being brutally honest. However, these are fully rebuilt billet wastegates which will not be as prone to rattle as stock turbos. All three of the major tunes have wastegate position adjustments to prevent or mask decel rattle, so it's pretty much a non-issue these days.

RBs will not rattle when freshly installed.

Again, being brutally honest, the ONLY parts needed for turbo installation are the o-rings, coolant line gasket and cylinder head gaskets. If you wanted to be super-cheap, you could even skip the o-rings, although I do not recommend this since they compress. The cylinder head gaskets are one-time use, do NOT cheap out on those.

You do not need oil lines. And no, this is for turbos only.

(I've done numerous turbo installs)

Here's dyno from my car on a pretty conservative tune.

Note that the HP almost never goes down. That minor drop after 6k is not noticeable as it is on stockers on high boost.

Are the turbos that much harder to install on a xi than on an i ?
