Boston Detailer Recommendations Please
Does anyone have any suggestions for a high quality experienced detailer within the metro Boston area? My fiancee's vehicle is in desperate need of a serious makeover. Oxidation, swirls, possibly some bird etching. I can't even remember the last time it was waxed. It kills me to see it so neglected, since I am completely the opposite with my car.
Thanks in advance for everyone's help!

brenWRX on e46fanatics.com does good work, here's a pic from a photoshoot with a black 330ci of my friend, detailed by brenWRX.
Here's a post with more of his sample pics: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=571648 Another option is automotive specialist, a shop I know well but they can be expensive. To quote their site "All details begin at $200, with prices varying according to each individual client's requests." www.automotivespecialist.net one example pic: http://www.automotivespecialist.net/07_bmw_335_3.jpg See their gallery for sample pics, they do a good job too.

I go to Luxury Details in Framingham. Have only had the car washed, not fully detailed, but they seem to do a good job.

bump. Lots of great detailers around. I second that of Bren's work, luxury details, and Bill's detail in Stoughton.

Did you use or know someone who used Bill's in Stoughton?

I've used Bills because they're pretty close to me. Bill himself use to have a black corvette he use to work on it, so he's good about black cars.

Thanks everyone for all your help! This forum is such a great community! Where is Bren located? I've heard of Luxury Details in Framingham. Bill's Detail may be a possibility too since my fiancee's family is down in Easton, so that's not too far away. Automotive Specialists may be a bit too pricey for her needs.
Of the 3 (Bren, Luxury Details & Bill's) which do you think would give the best work for the most reasonable price? I don't think she wants to spend over $200. This is for her CR-V not my 330i. Although if they do a really good job, I would consider going to them for my car as well. I usually like to do my own car personally, but I've been becoming a bit lazy lately.

bren is in worcester, but I think he's mobile. If you want I can grab you his email. Bill's is very reasonable. His "platinum" package is liek $250-$275 and thats the works. For a basic exterior i'm sure its $200 or under

Thank you everyone for all your suggestions! I think Bill's might be the best option, as it's not far away from her family's house so she can hang out there while it's being worked on. Plus, it looks like his prices are quite reasonable for the work that he does. I'll post a report on the experience after she gets it done. When booking the appointment, should I mention anyone as a referral?

Another great resource for detailing is JD who owns AutoSalon Detailing in
Winchester/MA . He's been detailing my cars for years (http://www.janixworld.com/x5/ , http://www.janixworld.com/330xi/ and http://www.janixworld.com/335xi/ ) , he does outstanding work and is a very stand up guy. His prices are very reasonable. His website is at http://www.autosalondetailing.com/ and his phone is 781-771-1500 (Click on pic for high-res) - Jan

Jan,
I knew your X5 looked familiar... My business partner Ryan (Rydawg) detailed it for you a while ago as well as your Monaco Blue 330. Nice looking X5. I love the color! |
