it's about 11mm too deep
i used speakers that were 42mm and they were hitting the glass when i opened or closed it
E92 is a pain in the ass

logic 7 speakers, if you can fine them used, are good
but i just blew one by mistake while adjusting my gains
i'm super close to buying the BSW kit

The rear speakers in the E92 do not have the same depth limitation as the front door speakers, so 51mm depth should work in the rear.

i think i am going to go this route. I assume the harness is needed to hook to the leads on the speaker. Does anyone know what kind of screws i will need?

We are now modifying this speaker to fit the E92 and bolt onto the unmodified door. Contact us for info.

Without mod it doesn't fit

People in the German forums seem satisfied with the results...

Here is another one you may want to consider, a bit more work involved to make it fit though...

http://www.caraudio-store.de/Woofer-...::87c00b8.html

I bet you the Rainbow is a much better midbass, but perhaps does not extend down as low as the Audio System.
