Well, my friend does have a shop in Forestville so the crack option is always there.
Or I could go to work for him as a mechanic, but then I'd still need to sell crap to pay the bills. |

Ahh, I literally just got my hands on my JB4 today. If I didn't I would've bought it from you today.

Hi guys, sorry that it appears that I posted that and disappeared. As those of you who know me personally may know I've been "between jobs" for a while and the money is starting to get tight; I had what's known as a temporary cash flow situation. Anyway long story short after I posted that but didn't have a chance to come back to this thread, I got a paying job out of town for a couple of days, and haven't had a chance to be in front of the PC. Also have an interview for a real permanent job on Tuesday, and finally the check for some stock I sold came in so my immediate needs are taken care of. If I get the job then the Cobb will be withdrawn, sorry for getting your hopes up. If I don't... the Cobb will be back up for sale, and probably my car as well, which will make me very sad.
Edit: to answer the question asked, yes, Cobbs can be swapped between vehicles I believe indefinitely. It does need to be unpaired from one vehicle before it can be installed on another however. I would certainly do that because if nothing else it'd suddenly make my car a maintenance nightmare if I had to take it to a dealer for service if I didn't (and of course it would be a low down rotten thing to do to a buyer) |

Thanks Eugene, I feel reasonably good about my chances but don't want to jinx anything by saying any more than that. I really don't want to sell my car, but it is "just a car" even though I do rather like it. I still have my Jeep which is 100% paid for and functional, even though it's finally started to demand a few repairs (tomorrow's project - find out why my brake pedal suddenly started feeling all weird.)
Now my tools... if you see them going up for sale you'll know I hit rock bottom Kinda hard to fix stuff without tools...! |
