Does that somehow help your business or help you personally?

Sad.
It's sad that the manufactures aren't out to protect their authorized dealers who worked hard to earned their dealership status and run a brick and mortar store. Authorized dealers aren't allow to run GB's because of the dealer agreement we signed. Yet, unauthorized dealers who bought from authorized dealers are selling below MAP and running GB's.

And guess what these unauthorized dealers have little clue as to the correct applications most of the time and can't provide much before or after sale tech support. It's hurting everyone with wrong parts been purchased and no support. Guess who the customers call at the end?

It's not fair to any Wavetrac authorized dealers and I am speaking on behave of all of them out there, except for the one who is selling Wavetrac to these guys running GB's out of their garages or bedrooms.

You will never see this happen with Quaife or any other responsible manufacture or distributor.

I see VAC being mere $14 cheaper on the Quaife final drive and probably don't include a new drive shaft nut, which is ~$20(if you ask, they may supply one, but it's standard here).

Quaife alone is close to $100 more!

They charge $504 more on the Wavetrac final drive so I don't see the savings there either!

If you have a specific question, you should PM, email or call us. There is no way for us to know someone in a particular thread has a question directed at us.

I assume "d" is referring to Diesel. They come with a welded ring gear and a ratio that is very different than gasoline powered cars. To install a Quaife you are looking at $1000-1200 in machine work plus the unit. It's really no different process wise than the gasoline cars with welded ring gears other than the ratio is different.

PM sent for a quote please. I have a 2011 335D. Here is picture of the unit that I would have shipped to you. In my PM, I mentioned a missing nut and black rubber seal on the front. Please see the picture below as I couldn't attach it to the PM.

Sorry for dredging up this old thread.
