F30 wheels on an E90 (Style 397)

3/1/13 EDIT: Brentster detailed the car last weekend. I have since lowered the car on ST V1s and changed the spacer setup to 12mm in front and 15 mm in the rear. Next change is non-RFTs when my current RFTs go out go out.

EDIT 1: UPDATED PICS HERE: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...4&postcount=48

I recently got my hands on some OEM style 397 wheels from an F30. I just put these on my E90 and I think they look pretty slick.

There is a massive wheel gap, which I hope to fix soon with a drop and some spacers.

The wheel specs are 18x8 et34 and they are wrapped in 225/45/18 Continental RFT's.

Tires are a bit too tall for the E90. should be 225/40R18

Sorry they aren't 20's with a slammed suspension. I like the OEM look and these are a huge upgrade from my 159's.

Yeah, they almost look like winter tires. They came already mounted, so I am just going to leave them on for now. They look pretty tucked in the pictures too. In person, they look a lot more flush and concave.

I think they look great! If they're too tucked in, just get some spacers for the cheap. But, I don't think you need them.

I like it

It's not the most extreme looking set up but still looks clean!

They look nice.
I don't think the sidewall is too tall but it would look noticeably better with a drop.
Car sits high for that wheel/tire combo.
