The Sparkling Graphite Struggle...
I am looking into some wheels for the spring/summer and own a SGM E90. So far, I don't like black/hyperblack or silver because the car color itself sits in between the two, kind of like a darker gunmetal color. I have seen a few Volks and Advans, but they usually are on one extreme or the other (as far as color). I guess what I'm trying to say is, I'd prefer some wheels that more so complemented the color of the gray (more along the same lines of the car color itself). I want Volks primarily, though
So I wanted to turn this over to the highly knowledgeable, highly opinionated, experienced guys on this board What do you think? Do any of you own SGM E90's with any good looking shoes? (Feel free to post pics )

i think any hypersilver looks best on SGM. Other colors look good/bad depending on the lighting due to the fact that SGM turns purple in direct sunlight.

Hmm. Never liked it though. I'll search for more SGM on the threads and see, could be an option.
I saw some hypersilver Advan RZ's that I liked, but I'd have to see the wheels themselves in person to decide.

I get what you mean about asking for advice. Maybe someone could make a suggestion you didn't think of. Sadly, I posted this very same question about my Tasman Green, but a whopping two people chimed in to offer their advice. |

You know, I may do just that...
...once I get the new wheels and photoshop them electric blue Quote:
What looks best so far are some hypersilver V701's.

Here's my toy, still with no new shoes. I have a little time on my hands with the snow over here in Germany right now. But when she gets to Knoxville next month...well...you know. I'm leaning towards VB3's, hyperblack. I'm thinking they'd match the window tint pretty well.

I have the same problem, but I've decided to go with a hyper silver color. I think it goes the best with our color.

I thought about that briefly in the beginning. You have any other shots of them on the car?

I actually really like the OEM 162's but wanna switch them out anyway. Kinda make the car look a bit dated, especially with all these LCI E90's rolling around
