you should be

CAPS all the way.

I used to be the half time entertainment where the little kids have shootouts between competing teams. It was a blast. I never lost . Goalie here.

^^ haha thats awesome...and you retired on the top.

...and the wizards are embarrassing. only good that has come out of this wiz/cav series is charles barkley making me laugh when he called us (the wizards) the "dumbest franchise in the history of civilization" last week.

Go Caps! Man, you guys have it good -- get to watch Ovechkin all year, while us Western conference fans only see him once every 3 years.

it is nice to finally have a superstar of our own...makes me think of what wilbon said today about lebron taking it out on the wizards:

"The Washington Wizards were reminded, rather rudely Monday night, of the enormous difference between an all-star and a superstar."

ovechkin is kinda like lebron in that manner...a player that pretty much everyone respects for their talent...

I figured the Caps lost when it got eerily silent outside my building around 10:00p - sorry to the Caps fans.

Going down in a Game 7 on a PPG really sucks, but Poti clearly tripped Kapenen (or whoever the Flyer was trying to escape the corner with the puck).

Man, being a fan of these teams in the area is soo dissatisfying. It's like you can penetrate but can never climax. Woe, woe, and woe!

Brutal end of the game. You just can't make that type of mistake in OT and not expect to pay. Certainly the Philly goal on which Huet got run down was infuriating, but the Caps had their chances as well.

I figure that this team is filled with kids - so many of them are under 24 or so that I feel like an old man at 28 watching them - and that there is nowhere to go but up. The environment at Verizon Center has been incredible, and hopefully next season they can replicate that fan environment and really continue to grow hockey in DC. This is a community that rallies behind winners, but I think we've just seen the beginning of it with the Caps.
