330d low coolant temp, review.
Hi everyone, well since having my 330d it's been poor on fuel in my opinion. So checked coolant temp, would barely go above 77c so I realised there is a fault. Obviously the main thermostat is a bit more involved to do. So I found a egr valve thermostat made by mahle!
Ordered it and it came at 8 this morning, by 8:50 it was fitted and done! Well just before I got to work it was at 77-78c, well since fitting the new stat it's now up to 80-82c. Not been on a decent drive yet. Might still need a main stat but I'm making progress! While the old stat was off I blow through the stat and it was straight through the stat had not closed so it was definitely faulty. Just thought I would share that info with you, even though its been covered. Dan |

Don't worry I'm going to do the other one, just wanted to do the quick One first and see what happens. So far an improvement, just need the main stat now

The main one isn't that difficult to do.
Where did you get your EGR one from? |
