Excellent! We're very excited to see what kind of turnout we get. I'm guessing there will only be 60 to 75 of the "VIP" parking spots @ $15, so I know that I'll be getting my registration in so I have a cool place to park and show my M3 Vert!

Are you with musicar? If so, right on, I heard you guys are in for a radar detector! Very nice!

I just got a peak at the vendors that are going to be donating some prizes... This should be COOL!

Here's a sneak peak of who's onboard to donate prizes so far:

  • Horsepower Freaks
  • ProTek Automotive
  • Pacific Motorsports
  • Boyd Motorwerks
  • Musicar Northwest
  • Bavarian Autosports
  • Safe Drives
  • Pelican Parts

Hopefully more to come!

Hey man, those look amazing. Unfortunately, I would be tarred & feathered if I violated the "usage" rules for us using our CCA logo and using the BMW Roundel. Plus, I needed to make sure that Chris @ HPF got his props for his role.

I had to cover up the transparent CCA logo and the Roundel, so this is what I ended up with. Hope no one's offended, but it was "tweak" it or have our communications person tell us we can't use it...

(I know, I'm not a fan of the white background on the logos I brought in, but again, I had to figure out a way to cover up the stuff we aren't allowed to us... Darn having to play by the rules anyway...)

Never been clear why Comic Sans didn't merit tarring and feathering.

Well, it's probably just as well that I'm the treasurer and not the communications guy!

I can be a little creative, but they trust me to play with the money more than anything.

Looking forward to meeting you in person at the event!

Garage List
2007 BMW 335i  [0.00]
This sounds awesome, I can't wait!
Sounds like I almost want to get a VIP spot so I don't have to park out in the boonies, but no one wants to look at a stock 335 lol.

+1, I couldn't agree more.

Update:
Griot's Garage is now on as a sponsor and they have donated 3 of their car care kits to the prize pile!

Also, remember that the VIP parking spots will be first come first served unless you pre-register and pay in advance. It'd be a bummer to have your car all ready to show and not have a parking spot in the VIP section with the closed off street...

This looks pretty sweet! I should be there.

You should delete that first attempt at a flyer, and post the new one at the top of the page. It looks way better and more inviting.

Looking forward to seeing you there. I just talked to Chris at HPF today and it looks like he's going to try to drum up a little bit of swag to give away.

We've also got some car care products from Meguiars on the way, and word has it that Rassmussen BMW is also going to look and see what they can dig up for some more items for our drawings.

What sort of turnout are you expecting? And is there an RSVP list?

So hard to know how many we will have with it being the first year.

Definitely pre-register forthe VIP parking. Go to the website posted above (it's on bmwccaoregon.com)

Maybe starting a list of registrants on the sites you are promoting this event on would be a good idea. Kinda builds excitement and let's people see that the turnout is growing. Quite a few of the other big meets do this with success.

Definitely still on. We're working hard to coordinate all the prizes, sponsors, and such. We're getting more people signing up for the VIP parking. Should be a great event. Not sure of the expected turnout w/ this being the first year. Yeah, the "list" on the thread would have been a good idea. Oh well, we're learning a lot as we plan this event, that's for sure.
