Resonator delete?

Ok I can't seem to find an answer.
But I have a 06 330i e90 and I was wanting to take out the resonator.....

-how many res are there?

- how much?

-any error codes?

Has anybody done this I'm not looking for too much sound but just more volume/deeper sound!

7e90dan is right. Since the resonator is quite small, the difference in sound isn't much (but it's still noticeable).

I already have the MD done and with Headers planned I don't expect to be messing with a new exhaust setup until after they are done. Resonator delete with the stock muffler won't do much for sound or performance. The secondary cats in conjunction with the resonator has a more noticeable gain/sound difference.

I had mine taken out a few weeks after I had a magnaflow muffler installed. It added about 20% more sound. It is a lot better!
