Nice pictures.

I noticed on one of the pictures showing the Idrive main menu, that the "telephone" option is missing, is your car not equipped with telephone? Does your car NOT have the sharkfin antenna or is the antenna for the gps signal place some other place in the car?

Hey, just wondering- since your car is a 2008 model, you get the beeping type chime. Do you now get the digital chime like on all other idrive enabled E90s after this retrofit?

It's actually not as big of a project as you'd think. I did this on our E90 a few months after we bought it. If anyone ever wants advice or help (in SoCal) doing this retrofit, let me know.

I have BMW 3 E91 from 2007 non-idrive version.This is first bimmer in my life but very gratefull car for tuning, upgrading

so I am very interested to get a feedback from you via PM regarding this projects: wirings diagrams are crutial for understanding pinouts connection, catalog numbers of spares (CCC, CID, Idrive knob).I did similar conversion project once, in other car.

If you want to you can, if you don't want to, you don't have to replace it for the CIC retrofit
