i would think ur next step either being, FMIC or CAI. then exhaust and or last DP's. if ur gonna go catless DP, u def need simms. without them ur gonna throw check engine light which will after a while put the car into limp mode.
Any SSTT users here care to comment on their experience in using this product with Down pipes? I am definitely interested in possibly moving up to UR catted DP's but I could've swore that I read there maybe some problems with DP's and this product all together. And yes I've searched but haven't really come up with any answers.

Thanks Brisk. I'm hoping just going catted will take care of the CEL's. I'm trying to stay away from using those 02 sim's all together. Surprisingly, I have yet to find a poster on here that has this setup. It would be really interesting to see some dynos with the SSTT and some dp's and/or full exhaust setup. - Ducati995, simms are needed for catless DP's. They basically simulate cats so that your car isn't throwing CEL's. Terry sells these but they require going into the ECU to install.

Yeah, we need an update on how this things works with msd81. Ive read the thread that it "Seems" to be okay, but some real testing and comments from the manufacturer would be nice.

I'd like to hear from a dealer that they are selling them, just to confirm the whole "no warranty loss"

Really? I think you had to go further back to dig up this thread than to find the one that has the information you're looking for.

Read from this post on: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...94#post2830194 or just search an index of Jeff's posts. That should give you what you're after.

I have heard that about a dozen dealers are selling the SSTT but I have only heard two names mentioned, Brecht in CA and another dealer in IL (forgot name).

updated guys

"It was an exhausting week but a very educational one. We were fortunate that our friends had just completed the new training on the new software and counter measures known as FASTA.

The data recording trends and what they are looking for was also most enlightening. They are indeed most concerned about high boosting systems and so have directed their efforts in that area. The SSTT stays well within margins that throw no red flags. We were able to see on their new screen the faults they were looking for. These "adapations" and there are four specific ones that are being examined and recorded will absolutely catch out of margin information.

I was extremely pleased to see that even on our main test vehicle that has hundreds of dyno runs with the SSTT we only threw codes related to wheel speed due to dyno work. Our 135 which has been getting the snot kicked out of it with the SSTT and the intake kit we sell had zero adaptation violations!

All in all we could not be happier with the outcome. Now on to the California Air Resources Board for testing. Once we have our emissions number, anyone who purchased a SSTT in the past year may request a sticker and we will happily give one to you for your vehicle

Well, I have my SSTT now in my 335xi for about 10`000 miles.

Power: You can feel it
Lag: Greatly improved over stock
Codes: None
Deutsche Autobahn approved: Yes
Sommer heat approved: Yes, no real power loss
Service detection: No, its stealth
Gas millage: Slightly approved, but dont expect too much on this one

Great little device after all, expecially for a daily driver like my car.

I assume the boost goes down when the IAT temps go down right? So what is the max boost that the SSTT can "trick" the ecu to shoot for? I have read as much as 13 psi, how come no solenoid bypass needed...is it because the ecu thinks the parameters are still within spec?

Purchased my SSTT from Jeff at Eurobahn, and found it very easy to install. Noticed the power change immediately. I've also gotten 3 engine warning signs...car is running at limited power, since the install. On all 3 occasions I pulled over, turned the car off, restarted and the warning was gone. I attribute this entirely to the SSTT, yet the extra power has made it a tough decision to remove...and I've kept it in. Car goes to the dealership next week, I will remove the TT before and feel the speed difference.

Maybe I'm the only person that has had issues, but since I do own the car and plan on driving it for at least 3 years, I'm a little nervous.
