Well I had the spiltters on for about a week, didn't like the cf look so last friday I had em' pulled off and painted. Just had them installed today, looks much better in my opinion. Yes I know about the amber's, should have the painted one's delivered tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for all the opinions.

After that, there's not really much I have a desire to do looks wise. Happy with the almost finished product. Was thinking about the PE and possibly PPK (for the right price). Not planning on getting too much into tunning, definitely enjoying this car.

Yea I thought it was OK. In that pic it looks great cause the cf looks black but in person and in sunlight you could really see the contrast of the CF/AW/grills and it bugged me. I think it would look good on a diff color car.

IMHO They're not very noticeable... It looks almost Identical to what it would look like without them...

Thats exactly what happened to me, came across another member who had them painted and it sold me right there.

I agree they are subtle, although when I looked at my car without them I always felt like there was something missing. For me they were way to noticable CF and I like the way it flows all one color. All opinions are appreciated though!

Thanks for all the comments guys. I'm definitely more pleased with the way it looks now.

I've seen (2) E92s with fully painted splitters and just think it flows so much better! Don't think I've seen an E90 though.

I like the fully painted look but I don't know if they are worth it for such a subtle look on the mtech bumper IMO.

White is 10000x better in my opinion. When you look at the car from afar with the CF, it looks like your bumper is missing something and has a big mouth. White flows and matches, just my opinion Great choice, I'm sure you felt the same way which is why you had it painted.

White looks better, nice job. I would recommend painted side reflectors if anything else.

Agreed its very subtle, thats why prefer it, adds a slight difference. I hear you on the price. Though I feel better about the price because my dealer was willing to match online and they were installed for free.

Exactly, I really like the flow and it does match. Way to much contrast leaving them CF.

Local dealer. They are also available on www.getbmwparts.com . Dealer price matched almost to the exact dollar and they were overnighted.
