HELP! Wheel Colour Advice Needed lol

Hey everyone,

I hit the biggest (widest) pot hole I've ever seen the other day and I couldn't avoid it but its marked my alloy and believe it or not put an egg in my front RFT tyre just what I didn't need at the moment!

Anyway I am taking the plunge and having the MV3's refurbished as I can't find another wheel without spending mega money that looks as good and fitting non RFT's at the same time ,
However!!
My dilemma I want to change the colour of the wheels but just don't know what colour to go?? Just not the original silver.
Thought of black so its stealth and the BMW centre badge would really stand out but it'll hide the feature of the wheels.
Can any of you guys shed some light/your opinions? Thinking of a darker colour but to still have some sparkle like a chunky metallic/pearl effect to catch the eye and show the wheel off, am I making sense?? Probably not

Anyway's here is my car as it stands.

Thanks in advance much appreciated
Rich

Personally I prefer the silver over black but if you want to go darker without going gloss black, a good choice is a gun metal finish

Granted this is an e92 but here is one: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=487396

Another vote for Ferric Grey, although I graunched one of mine yesterday when I was forced onto the kerb by blues & twos dashing back to the station for a brew

Ferric grey/athracite, black always looks shite, makes the wheels disappear and the tyres look a dirty brown.

Thanks guys, yes black will hide the wheels which is why I don't want black but I can't find the right anthracite so now I am thinking black chrome with second choice being hyper black best of both worlds dark colour but yet still reflective to show the wheel off.

Just not black.

Some greys are nice but don't go too dark.

Black wheels on black cars look awful 99.99999% of the time.

I like the ferric grey. It looks great being a bit darker but not too much. I've got a black E90 and need my wheels refurbed so think I'll go for ferric grey. Thanks for the paint code.

HELP! Wheel Colour Advice Needed lol - UPDATE

I originally wanted black chrome effect wheels but after getting the price back alone just on paint £55 per 1/4 litre and 1/2 litre needed to paint all the wheels, I asked Foundary Alloys to paint the wheels black and apply a bit of silver to the lacquer and the result is below.

Totally made up with them but to be honest these photo's don't do the wheels justice the wheels flip colour in the light conditions. Just fitted new centre caps which aren't on the photo's and they totally finish the wheels off yet again

Thank you for all your advice guys.

You MUST get tyre dressing on yr tyres. Its taking away from the superb paint job. Otherwise its all looking very nice!
P.s the black chrome paint...where did u get the quote from and was that in a rattle can or in a tin to be put through a gun?

Thanks Gaza, yes totally agree tyre dressing needed, I believe you can use Autoglym Bumper Care to dress the tyres make them look darker so your not putting a shine on the tyres like tyre shine or something similar.
The black chrome was quoted in the tin not rattle can but I believe it can also go under the name Shaddow Black?? Either way I thought £55 for a 1/4 litre was a little expensive to be honest.
