Any clue what they are giving people who are not leasing?
I do not have the issue (knock on wood) but in case I do in the future, I would like to know what I can realisticly ask for / request as compensation. ......or am I SOL for buying? |

Its probably a case by case basis depending on your dealership, how long you car is out of commission, how level headed you are when talking to them, and if the moons aligned. With another car manufacturer I got a customer satisfaction buyback (NOT BMW), but it is possible. I happened to have known the Field Operations Manager of that manfacturer, so that facilitated the action. Anyway, if BMW decides to do something like this, they dont want it broadcasted all over the net, they want it quiet. They cannot afford to do this for tons of owners...but they do this when necessary.

true...for his HPFP troubles, BMW is honoring iatacs19's fetish/fantasy to run around naked down the //M production line in Regensburg. He leaves to Munich next Thursday , all expenses paid ...

Actually, not everypone, I got a brand new car coming in about 6-8 weeks, and they gave me my old one back once the pump came in to hold me over till the new one comes in. My payments don't change either.

and there will be an AMG S65 waiting to chauffeur me to my Porsche GT2 which I will use to drive to the airport on my way to pick up my Zonda F. I love you BMW.

Of all the people on any of the Bimmer boards you have been the least helpful and the least forthcoming regarding the fuel pump issue.
Others have offered sound advice and feedback as to the varying restitution that BMWNA has offered to those that have experienced the problem. Not you. You continually make snide comments that smack of arrogance but you offer no substance to back those comments up. You're the type that loves to hear yourself talk. |
