JB3 questions before purchase.
I'm looking to get JB3 asap! and the BTool. Now i see there is a 8d and other versions. I'm a little lost on what ur looking for. Is that the ECM version or software version. And how can i find it all out, as well as build date. Also is JB3 detectable on a car that was just updated? Ive read its only on the higher maps but looking to drive around on 4-5 so i dont want to see a SES or half engine light all the time. And Terry how long does it take to ship out to NJ for say?
Thanks

All versions shipped by Terry are the most updated ones. If you have the BT Scan tool, you don't really have to worry about codes. Just ensure that the JB3 is removed prior to bring the vehicle in for service. I have a brand new ride like yours and had the same kinda questions. I bought the JB3, and BT. Running map 5, on an otherwise stock car on 91 octane for over a week with no problems and no codes. Just buy it and get it over with.

Yea all those rev1-4 and 8D's were BETA maps, now v1.3 is offical which in BETA form was called 1.3 Rev4 8D. There is no more beta and everything is shipping with offical finished 1.3 ! Go for it, JB3 is awesome. On 93 octane you can run Map4/5 without a problem! Running anything higher than Map4/5 you run the risk of throwing a code, but if you get the BT tool to delete codes, On 93 octane, temps under 80*F, and low altitude you can run Map6/7, than scan to see if you threw any codes. The beauty of the BT tool. Call Terry directly or email him, or Mike aswell, great people to work with and will give you every ounce and info you will ever need.
