I will explain it to you and leave it for you... Car A (your car) has 60K miles. Car B (other car) has 30K miles. So you put your odometer in car B. Car B will take 60K miles from your car store in the central computer. Surely you will have mileage temper dot on it. Whereas Car B odometer will make no damage to your car as your car has more mileage. Now when you revert the odometers back to their original cars, then car B sill still have 60K miles. As 60K miles were stored in central computer. Permanent damager has happened to car B and no chances of reverting it back to 30K unless you send to far Europe and pay approx £300-500 to put the mileage back. Trying to avoid and help you from any potential problems.
